Anthony Bourdain Crafts A Blade From A Meteorite In His New Web-Series

It’s been a few months now since the most recent season of CNN’s Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown came to an end. As we wait for more episodes, scores of fans have been left craving the travel host’s signature sardonic wit.

The wait ended last week, with the release of the web-series Raw Craft with Anthony Bourdain. Presented by Balvenie US — purveyors of some pretty fine brown liquors — each episode of the series explores a different facet of modern day craftsmanship. The most recent episode, shown above, features master blade-smith Bob Kramer, who is world-renowned for crafting impeccable knives from meteorites.

The show is similar in nature to the Uproxx series, Human, which explores the lives of committed artisans. Check out the various Human episodes below:

Cameron Weiss is on a mission to bring the art of American watchmaking back:

Jon Wegener wants to bring surfing back to its roots by crafting his surfboards by hand:

Taber Nash puts a human touch into motorcycle design, by building each chopper himself:

Jake Weidmann is leaving his own unique mark on the written word while keeping a focus on the importance of penmanship in the modern age:

George Vlagos revitalized a small town factory with ambitions of bringing American craftmanship back to boot-making:
