Let this be a warning to men everywhere: wasting a woman’s time is a very dangerous thing to do.
Imgur user somethingsomethingDANGER was just your average girl, getting ready for a date night with her bae when said scumbag decided to cancel their romantic plans for that evening at the last-minute. So, like any sane, rational woman would do, DANGER (that’s a pretty appropriate nickname in the context of this story) put her boyfriend on blast by sharing a hilarious series of texting screen grabs between the two.
Here for you now is the dissolution of a relationship via text message:
First, DANGER checks in with her boyfriend. They’ve obviously already made plans tonight. (The word “still” is a key determinant in this theory.) Notice bae’s cancellation followed by a weak apology and absolutely no explanation. These are three things scientifically proven to drive a woman insane.
DANGER seems to accept the news fairly well at first, but her descent into blinding rage begins as she reflects on the hours spent preparing for said date.
Not only did DANGER shave, she also exfoliated and moisturized. Any woman knows that while shaving is, sadly, a necessity, those added grooming efforts are only reserved for the most important of occasions. The sheer amount of physical effort wasted by DANGER has taken its toll.
She ends the conversation by giving her boyfriend (who, by now, should have clued into the fact that he won’t be coming over ever again) a preview of her hard work and a photo to haunt his dreams. There’s just a bit of crazy behind that smile.
As of now, we’re not sure where the couple’s relationship stands (we’re also not sure if “babe” is still alive).
Please, for the sake of your loved ones, share this PSA with the perpetually flaky men in your life — it may just spare them the humiliation, shame and possible bodily harm that DANGER’s boyfriend is now experiencing.
