Oreo Churros Will Now Be Making Their Way From The Theater To Your Home

Back in the tail end of Spring, it was announced that Nabisco was bringing Oreo Churros to movie theaters, using real Oreo cookies to create the mashup concoction for theatergoers to foolishly buy for inflated prices. And buy them they did, so much that now the dessert is coming to grocery stores for the home market.

The issue at play here involves the version of the treat you will be getting in your home. The 10-inch version will still only be available at theaters and sporting events, with knockoffs likely making you sick at carnivals soon enough. The home version will be frozen and bite size, sorta like those mini-eclairs that you can’t stop eating.

According to Mashable, apparently this isn’t the first time Oreo Churros have been tried in the home market. An earlier version from the fall of 2014 featured a chocolate churro with Oreo dipping sauce. Now Nabisco scientists have determined a way to inject the cream directing into the churro, making for a new experience right in the comfort of your own kitchen.

We’re not truly in the golden age of horrible food at home until they finally figure out a way for you to make your own custom Choco Taco at home or create a machine that makes Dippin’ Dots. It’s the kinda thing I have planned on my “giving up” bucket list.
