On Saturday, a Circle K clerk in Osceola County, Florida, got a rude visit around 2:15 a.m. from three gun-wielding burglars, one of whom was wearing the mask that old WCW mainstay La Parka made famous back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The clerk managed to chase the robbers off, but not before one of them shot at him, missing him by only inches.

I haven’t seen money abused like that since the last time I tried to Park in L.A.! There are a lot of explanations for why a man would dress as La Parka to rob a convenience store. Maybe they were out of cash at the CiclopATM. Maybe he needed some quick dough to pay off his Super Caloan shark. Or perhaps the most likely explanation is that he was suffering from some sort of Psicosis. I hear this gentleman used to knock over precious metal dealers and was known on the street as the Silver King. One thing is for sure: committing armed robbery is far from El Dandy.

According to WFTV, the trio of robbers then fled on foot with cash and cigarettes. Of course, WFTV also called the La Parka mask “an Asian style mask,” but we’ll give them a pass on this one.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 407-423-8477.
