Here’s Your Video Tour Of The Food At The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens in Universal Studios Hollywood this Spring. For those Potterphiles who can’t wait until then, CNN has provided a preview of the theme park’s Three Broomsticks restaurant, and the whole makes me jealous of those Angelenos who got to experience frozen butterbeer before the rest of us, just to make CNN’s visuals look better.

First, the restaurant’s chef takes us through the menu, which has traditional English food like fish and chips and shepherd’s pie. They also have a fancier sounding Sunday roast prime rib, and slow roasted lemon herb chicken with a watercress aioli. If you’re a vegetarian, you can get jumbo asparagus with sauteed cabbage (hopefully you get other choices, too?).

As for desserts, patrons can choose from “butterbeer potted creme” and sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream, among other choices. These dishes are specifically for Universal Studios Hollywood, in case you want some exclusivity with your Harry Potter themed meals.

And if the Three Broomsticks is too PG-rated for you, it’s connected to the Hog’s Head, where you can get other alcoholic drinks, including something called White Rat Risky, “with a hint of the fires of the Norwegian Ridgeback.”
