Vanity Fair’s Interactive Tribute To Character Actors Is Pretty Great

By 02.17.12

Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issue is always eye-catching and this year the online version has gotten interactive while paying tribute to some of our favorite character actors like Stephen Root, Margo Martindale, Richard Jenkins, Judy Greer, and J.K. Simmons. Go to and scroll over each actor in Sam Jones’s photo for a mini bio and reminder why you’re a fan of their work.

Doing so I was reminded that Danny Trejo’s big break came from being hired as an armed robbery consultant for Heat. Bad. @ss. Shooter McGavin’s if-Guy-Fieri-was-a-starving-magician look remains a mystery though.
