CBS might have something special on their hands. The nation’s favorite Becker enabler has a new relationship comedy from How I Met Your Mother co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas in production and now comes word that they’ve locked up their female lead.

Variety reports that Suburgatory alum Jane Levy is a go for the romantic comedy pilot My Time/Your Time. The program is based on Avital Ash’s web series 7P/10E, which focuses around a long distance relationship and the young couple that has to navigate that challenge. We are reasonably confident no blue french horns are brandished in the series, but we’ll have to circle back and check.

In addition to having Levy and two HIMYM big shots in the mix for the would-be primetime comedy, My Time/Your Time also features Bad Teacher showrunner Hilary Winston on the team. (Skim her IMBD. She’s a get.) TV Line notes that Winston wrote the pilot, although there seems to be a bit of disagreement on who would be tackling directing duties for that introductory episode. TV Line has Bays and Thomas in the role of co-directors for the pilot, while Deadline reports that HIMYM vet Pamela Fryman will be the one taking on that responsibility. Either way, we’re jazzed to see how this pans out.
