Here’s some noteworthy new advertising: for LG’s “3D Sound” home theater system, ad agency Y&R has created three iconic movie posters from alternative angles to emphasize “Every Side of the Sound.” Truth be told, the campaign doesn’t make complete sense since the print ads provide another dimension to the visual. Y&R probably should have saved this idea for a 3D television client (Peggy must be on duty), but it’s still a cool concept that deserves recognition.
The two other variations for Forrest Gump and Pretty Woman are after the jump. In the world I want to live in they hired the XXX porn parody stars as stand-ins for the shots. Because I mean that’s just a fun story.
