Here Are All The Movies Disappearing From Netflix In November

It’s that time of the month again where we have to wave goodbye to some of our streaming favorites as they ride off into the sunset. To get ready for Halloween, you might want to catch Candyman, Hannibal, or American Psycho, because they’re vanishing on November 1st. Don’t worry, though, as there are still a bunch of horror gems being offered, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a good scream. Take a look at some of the other titles leaving Netflix in November…

Red State

Red State was a surprising entry in the Kevin Smith filmography with its lack of toilet humor, but it’s also a very effective horror film. The movie follows a David Koresh-like cult intent on ridding the world of horny teenagers. Michael Parks turns in an awesome performance as the cult’s leader.

Serenity

Joss Whedon’s Firefly is one of those shows that everyone wishes was never cancelled. The western sci-fi followed a band of space pirates led by the charismatic and formidable Mal Reynolds. Although we only got one season, Whedon was nice enough to do us a solid and make a follow-up feature film that provides some closure on the series.

The Ninth Gate

Roman Polanski’s neo-noir about a man (Johnny Depp) who finds himself in over his head while searching for a demonic book is a fun, albeit strange ride. It’s certainly not the weirdest Depp film (see: Dead Man), but Johnny gives a nice performance as a man who may or may not be descending into hell.
