Eminem Announces To The World He’s Gay In This Hilarious Clip From ‘The Interview’

The controversy surrounding the release of Sony’s The Interview — which you can watch right now on YouTube in its entirety — has predictably led to everyone tearing open their Christmas gifts and kissing their relatives goodbye early in order to sprint to their devices to stream the film. Right now, the Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy is leading the “top sellers” list on YouTube, and within a week it will also be released on the Playstation Network, so it’s likely that sales for the film North Korea didn’t want you to see will continue to build.

A few clips of The Interview have hit the net, with one of the more popular videos containing an interview Franco’s character conducts with Eminem. The Detroit rapper has been in hot water with gay rights activists for years — due to his homophobic lyrics — that even a performance with Elton John at the Grammys couldn’t abate.

Despite it, Marshall Mathers hasn’t shied away from lampooning his supposed hatred for homosexuals, famously orchestrating a bit with Sasha Baron Cohen at the MTV Awards in 2009. It seems, though, that the gay community can now add the music megastar to their fan base — at least the fictionalized version of him.

Watch Seth Rogen, who plays Franco’s producer, completely lose his mind when Eminem comes out of the closet (“I’ve pretty much just been leaving a breadcrumb trail of gayness.”) in the clip above. If this were to happen in real life, the reaction would be similar, if not even more nuclear.
