El-P From Run The Jewels Shared His Steven Seagal Fan Fiction

Our buddies over at the AV Club recently had the privilege of talking to jewel runners Killer Mike and El-P about, of all things, Steven Seagal. It was part of their “Fan Up” series, and El-P in particular loves Above the Law, Marked For Death, Today You Die, That’s All Folks, and Half Past Dead, only one of which isn’t an actual Seagal film. But he’s most passionate about Out For Justice, to the point where he even wrote fan fiction from the perspective of Sticks.

That’s the “guy with the pool cues,” obviously.

A desperate, sad cough rings out from the floor. Stix lies on his back in a pool of teeth and blood.

“SOMEONE CALL 911. PLEASE. I’M HURT. I’M REALLY BADLY HURT. CALL MY WIFE.”

Rehab was an intense thirteen-month program and there were times in which he almost cracked under the strain. I visited him, once, right after he was admitted. He was asleep. The clicking and whirring of machines filled the room. (Via)

Maybe for Run the Jewels 3, Killer Mike and El-P can borrow a sample from Mojo Priest.
