Here Are 7 Things You Didn’t Know About The ‘Fast And Furious’ Series Before You See ‘Furious 7’

You might’ve caught our ranking of the entire series earlier today or caught most of Furious 7 coverage up to this point, but I’m sure you didn’t know there was still a bit to milk from the Fast & Furious series of films. It’s actually chock full of little tidbits and facts that surprised me.

I actually haven’t seen one of these movies, save for a few loose moments from 2 Fast 2 Furious (probably is a bad place to start). Even with that distance, it’s hard not to notice the popularity of the series or it’s evolution into an action showcase. Bringing back the original cast, tossing in The Rock, and pushing the stunt work to extreme levels has proved a benefit obviously.

This clip actually does provide some interesting facts. I never would’ve thought that the original Fast & Furious movie would borrow from John Ford’s Stagecoach or that The Rock’s cousin, Tanoai Reed, is his go to stunt man for all of his films (would think he’d want to do those things himself):

There’s also the weird drug lord church with the abandoned dog from Fast & Furious, which is just cool all around. That’s the kinda place a guy could call home. Anyway, are there any facts this missed or that you would throw in?
