After Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters next week, the Marvel madness will continue with Captain America: Civil War, which will start filming about two weeks from now. Not long ago, we reported on a scene in which Scarlet Witch was being used as a placeholder for a possible Captain Marvel cameo, but that idea was ditched by Kevin Feige in favor of keeping Scarlet Witch in. Why? Because maybe they needed her for their next movie.
Well, Elizabeth Olsen officially confirmed that she will appear as Scarlet Witch in Captain America: Civil War, and, yes, she’s allowed to talk about that now. Because we know how Marvel is about keeping their filmmakers’ lips sealed. But the third Captain America movie starts filming in a couple of weeks, so the proverbial cat would have been let out of the bag anyway.
