Get A Closer Look At The Badass, Real Vehicles Featured In ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’

It’s been three decades since Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was released in theaters and very soon, we will finally get to dip back into George Miller‘s psychopathic dystopian world with Mad Max: Fury Road. Warner Bros. has added some intriguing photos to the movie’s official website which showcase a mere sample of the vehicles featured in the film. Pictured above is Mad Max Rockatansky’s original set of wheels known simply as “The Interceptor.”

Below are more samplings of the beastly autos that graced the screen to help make this film happen. It’s worth noting that 150 of these crazy vehicles were designed by Colin Gibson and assembled by the production company.

So in other words, these ain’t no CGI cars:

“The Gigahorse”

“The Nux Car”

“The War Rig”

“FDK”

“The Peacemaker”

“MACK”

“Buggy #9”

“Big Foot”

“Plymouth Rock”

Hit the movie’s website for a more in-depth look at the vehicle showcase.

Mad Max: Fury Road will speed its way onto movie screens across America on Friday, May 15th.
