While it began as little more than Point Break with cars, The Fast and the Furious series has morphed into one of the biggest movie franchises of all time. At the center of these wildly successful movies sits Vin Diesel. While he hasn’t been in every single Fast and Furious movie, it’s clear that Vin is the glue that holds this franchise together. As the criminal Dominic Toretto, Vin’s character creates a dysfunctional family of his own including the likes of Paul Walker and Ludacris.

Sometimes, it’s hard to know where Vin Diesel ends and Dominic Toretto begins, but it’s clear that the character has made us all want to ride or die. So buckle up, turn on the Nos, and enjoy these Dominic Toretto quotes from The Fast And The Furious series.

“I live my life a quarter mile at a time.”

This classic line from the first Fast and Furious movie gives a glimpse of who Dominic Toretto really is and makes you want to jump in a car and turn up the Nos.

“You almost had me? You never had me.”

The banter between Dominic Toretto and Brian O’Conner (played by Paul Walker) is just the beginning of a beautiful brotherhood.
“I’ve got nothing but time.”

After being absent from the brilliantly titled, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Dom makes his heroic comeback at the end of Tokyo Drift. The return of Dominic Toretto signaled the relaunch of the Fast and Furious franchise with Vin Diesel at the center.

“You’ve just made a big mistake.”

In Fast 5, the franchise pits Vin Diesel against The Rock in one of the most epic fights in Fast and Furious franchise history. Once these two juggernauts came together, nothing was the same.

Ride or die, remember?”

After finding out that his girlfriend Letty (played by Michelle Rodriguez) is still alive, he attempts to win her back the only way Dom knows how: a street race.
“The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room.”

At the end of the day, Dominic Toretto is a real softie. Despite all the fast cars and hot women, all that matters is family.

“I don’t have friends, I got family.”

Family is the most important thing to Dominic Toretto (see above), so it’s no question that the only friends he has in life are considered family.
