Evangeline Lilly Fans The Flames By Revealing She Was Fitted For The Wasp’s Supersuit

For those who want Evangeline Lilly’s Ant-Man character to become The Wasp in future installations, your wish may come true. Lilly has revealed that she was fitted for The Wasp’s costume.

As covered before, the Ant-Man end credits featured a scene between Lilly’s character, Hope Van Dyne, and her father, Dr. Hank Pym, who squabbled during the entire movie about whether Hope should follow in her dead mother’s footsteps (the original Wasp, Janet Van Dyne). It turns out, in this scene, that Hank has been making a suit for his daughter all along, hinting perhaps that she’ll appear in other Marvel films as a full-fledged superhero.

Now Evangeline Lilly herself is fanning the flames, answering a fan’s question on Facebook: “I was scanned for #TheWasp suit, but then I got pregnant. Let’s hope I fit it again! #ineedtime!”

Now’s the time to wildly speculate as to where/how/when Lilly will appear again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, maybe by getting her own movie?

Marvel’s superhero films often feature vignettes of what’s to come in future installments. For instance, another scene in the Ant-Man’s credits depicts Captain America and Sam Wilson discussing what to do with Bucky Barnes, whose robotic arm has been caught in a vice.
