To the surprise of no one, Jennifer Lawrence continues to conquer Hollywood and is now at the top of Forbeslist of highest-paid actresses in the world. Apparently, anchoring huge franchises while also appearing in award-winning dramas has given her the pull she needs to demand a hefty paycheck. Lawrence exercised that star power earlier this year when she signed on for a $20 million paycheck for the upcoming sci-fi film Passengers. In all she’s pulled in a staggering $52 million over the last 12 months. With the final Hunger Games installment and the Oscar-baity Joy both coming out during the holiday season, Lawrence is guaranteed to end the year with a bang.

Lawrence was in the No. 2 spot last year, but the former No. 1, Sandra Bullock, moved down to 15th this year. Considering the fact that this summer’s Minions was her first film since 2013’s Gravity, 15th place isn’t too shabby. Scarlett Johansson (Thanks, Marvel!), Melissa McCarthy, Fan Bingbing, and Jennifer Aniston round out the top five.
