Margot Robbie And Her ‘Suicide Squad’ Co-Star Visited A Young Girl’s Lemonade Stand

Since April, Suicide Squad director David Ayer has turned Toronto into a dreary above-ground sewer, where Jokers and killer crocodiles come out to play (and get tattoos). There’s still some hope left to be found, though. Case in point: #Squad stars Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney, who I’m still convinced is Sam Worthington in witness protection, visited a young girl’s lemonade stand to help her raise money for her brother who “suffers from Angelman syndrome, a rare congenital disorder caused by genetic malformations,” according to CTV.

Determined to help her brother, [5-year-old] Na’ama opened the lemonade stand in 2014 to raise money for the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST).

“I used to do little stands like this when I was little and I’d just spend the profits on lollies at the corner store,” said Robbie. “I’m glad she’s doing something far more noble with the cause.” (Via CTV)

Na’ama has already raised $64,000, about $63,995 more than most kid’s lemonade stands make. Especially in this economy. As for Robbie and Courtney, they may think they did a good deed when, really, all they’ve accomplished is convincing a 5-year-old kid to see the wildly inappropriate Suicide Squad. If Deadpool ever visits, then she’s really in trouble.
