He’s one of the biggest movie stars in the world. She’s one of the world’s most celebrated human rights lawyers. Both of them are style icons in their own right and receive global admiration for their work. They are George and Amal Clooney, international stars, and they have just expanded their family by adopting a dog. But forget the Clooneys — let’s hear a little bit about the new dog!
Millie is a 4-year-old basset hound was who picked up by the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society as a stray and is described as having “adorable googly eyes, pretty long ears, and shorty legs” that will surely traverse the palatial Lake Como villa in which the Clooneys reside. Here is the Clooneys’ adoption picture, which features their other rescued dog, Cocker Spaniel Louie:
Bawwwwww, look at those little buddies! Apparently, the Clooneys were searching for a new dog on Petfinder just like regular people and headed over to the shelter to have a “meet and greet.” And now, all four of the Clooneys are featured on the shelter’s website in the most fabulously mundane way possible, which is refreshing and heartwarming because when it comes to rescue dogs, it’s all about the dogs.
