October 3 was National Mean Girls day, which celebrates the magical moment when Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) asked Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) what day it was. Fans of the movie still celebrate the day (in their minds), and a few cast members celebrated on Saturday with Instagram posts. Oddly enough, it was the dudes who got into this party. Daniel Franzese (who played Damian) and Rajiv Surendra (who played math geek Kevin) both enthusiastically posted photos to celebrate their roles in the cult classic.
Franzese is still bopping along in the entertainment biz (he appeared in War of the Worlds and the recent I Spit On Your Grave remake). If you’ve been wondering what Surendra is up to these days, he operates a calligraphy business in New York City. His primary focus is on creating cool chalkboards for restaurants, but let’s get down to some reunion pics.
