There’s a new Daniel Craig-starring James Bond film releasing Friday, which raises a question: Will Spectre be another Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace? We’ve reviewed the film, and have seen Daniel Craig do his best to remain civil for the movie’s press tour, but it’s a good idea to have all the facts straight before going into the theater. What is Spectre? Who is Blofeld? And why is the movie too good for Androids?

Spectre will be the culmination of the story threads and characters found in all of Craig’s previous Bond films, but the titular evil organization dates back to an unused screenplay for Thunderball, which at one point was going to be the first Bond movie. By the looks of the trailer, Spectre has haunted Bond and has been “the author” of all his pain, but how can you really be mad at the charming face of Christoph Waltz? I mean, look at the guy. Even when he has just strangled Von Hammersmark, it’s hard not to enjoy his trademark smirk. But why has he been out to make Bond miserable for so long? Waltz has denied being Blofeld, the leader of Spectre, but evidence from the trailers and previous incarnations of Blofeld really seem to prove otherwise.

In the video above, we provide a complete breakdown of what to know about the 24th Bond film. Will Spectre tie everything together or start some new threads for future Bond films (that Craig just seems absolutely ecstatic to star in)? Tell us what you think in the comments.
