The first official™ trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is set to debut Thursday morning, but there’s no harm in taking a bit of a sneak peek, eh?
The upcoming sequel to 2014’s Michael Bay-guided TMNT reboot now has a very loud and very busy 14-second teaser to go alongside it. Treats coming your way if you watch it: Turtles posing, Turtles saying things, Tyler Perry dorking out as Baxer Stockman, Megan Fox’s April O’Neil sporting a sexy schoolgirl outfit CUZ SEXUAL SEX SEX POINTS OR SOMETHING, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones and assorted things you had the toy version of as a kid. (Sorry fella, we couldn’t spot WWE Champ Sheamus as Rocksteady in this thing. Maybe Paramount’s seen the current Raw ratings.)
The film, due out on June 3, features the writers of the last film (Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec) returning for another go-around and Earth to Echo helmer David Green handling the role of director. The 2014 big screen version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles raked in nearly $500 million at the box office, so expectations feel high for another hit from the series.
