Will you be watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens this month? Of course you will. If you don’t you’ll be thrown into the sun because this blockbuster has been deemed MANDATORY viewing. Here’s one helpful viewing tip from director J.J. Abrams: “All the scenes are in the movie.”
There will not be a mid-credits sequence or a post-credits sequence waiting for you once the seventh installment of the series wraps up. Abrams revealed this detail during a semi-secretive press event in Los Angeles, which means you can exit the movie theater before seeing the best boy’s name pop up on the screen. WANDER OUT INTO THE MALL FOOD COURT WITH CONFIDENCE!
Abrams also offered up a few other fun chunklets about Episode VII. SPOILER WARNING AHOY!
The more sizeable morsels of Star Wars info that tumbled out during the engagement included the declaration that you will not see (live) Ewoks in the film and Jar Jar Binks isn’t likely to show up either. Also, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy revealed to the crowd that this particular trilogy is still being crafted.
“We haven’t mapped out every single detail yet, but obviously everybody is talking to one another, working together, and that collaboration is going to guarantee that everybody has a say in how we move forward with this.”
Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the movie you’re allowed to leave when the end credits begin rolling, will arrive in theaters worldwide on December 18.
