Stacey Dash may be saying all the controversial things lately, but she’s not afraid of responding to a public shout out from an industry peer. The actress, who has been making frequent appearances on Fox News lately, tweeted out her own jab after being called out at the NAACP Image Awards. For those who missed it, Anderson didn’t hold back when referencing Dash’s recent opinions about politics and Hollywood diversity.
“Everybody give a round of applause for Stacey Dash! What the hell is she doing here?” he quipped. “Doesn’t she know that the Fox network is using her? She’s just an Ann Coulter dipped in butterscotch. That’s all she is. Baby, don’t let them use you! Come back to the black people.”
He was an equal opportunity jokester in his comments at the Image Awards, as he riffed on Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s planned boycott of the Academy Awards as well, but that didn’t stop Dash from taking the comments personally. Dash’s tweet continues the trend of her saying whatever is on her mind, even if it does sometimes contain weirdly placed punctuation.

It remains to be seen whether Anderson takes this in stride and moves on. Or he may respond again and take this from “tiff” to full on Hollywood duel. Either way, Dash will probably say something that people disagree with soon and start another news cycle of commentary.
