In addition to Tom Brady and Charlie Sheen, Donald Trump appeared to have another celebrity endorsement today — actor Anthony Mackie.

In an interview with BET, the Avengers: Age of Ultron actor was asked: “If you had to choose, what campaign would you want to run? Clinton’s or Trump’s?” Mackie answered, “I would 100 percent want to run Trump’s campaign.”

Here are the reasons why:

1) “First, that would be the best party ever when he won.”

2) “Trump’s an easy sell… If you look at Trump, he’s an easy sell, because you can sell him as the guy who worked his way up from nothing, you know? And I think that, if you’re the ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps’ candidate, people would identify with that.”

When asked if his answer was an endorsement of Donald Trump as a candidate for President of the United States, Mackie replied, “I’m on the bandwagon. I’m drinking the Kool Aid.”

The video doesn’t having anything on which of Trump’s policies and campaign moments Mackie likes, whether it’s Trump’s immigration policy, his comments about Megyn Kelly being on her period, or something else.

As for being the “bootstraps candidate,” that might be the indicator that Mackie was just joking, because Trump’s dad had plenty of money. Regardless, the actor eventually clarified that he wasn’t actually offering an endorsement:

However, that could have simply been a case of the Falcon flying away from some serious Twitter backlash as soon as he checked his mentions.
