Brad Pitt Doesn’t Like His Odds For Survival In The First Teaser For The WWII Spy Thriller ‘Allied’

Everyone loves Brad Pitt. Well, except for Nazis, but those guys are dicks, so who cares? The handsome acting gent has taken on Nazis in motion pictures like Inglorious Basterds and Fury, so he certainly appears to be in his element in the freshly released teaser for Robert Zemeckis‘ upcoming spy thriller Allied.

The film focuses on the exploits of Pitt and Marion Cotillard as spies that fall in love and occasionally shoot guns and flip tables during World War II. This sixty-second look-in is marinated in tension and scenes of danger, while finding time to squeak in lines like “being good at this line of work is not beautiful” because that’s the sort of movie this is. Everyone’s dressed nice, swastikas pop up in the background with regularity (cuz Nazis) and sadly none of their enemies appear in line for a scalping. Mind you, Zemeckis ignored the opportunity to put revenge scalping in Forrest Gump and The Polar Express too.

We have the teaser nestled at the top of the page for your viewing pleasure and/or evaluation. Allied, which also features Lizzy Caplan, Jared Harris and Matthew Goode in the cast, is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 23.
