Brad Pitt Saves A Young Fan From Being Crushed By A Crowd

Brad Pitt turned into a superhero when he saved a young girl from being crushed by a large crowd Sunday night. The actor was on set and in the middle of filming the World War II-themed film Allied in Gran Canaria, Spain, ET reports.

The 52-year-old star, who was dressed in a 1940s-inspired costume from the film, along with two bodyguards saw the young girl struggling against a fence amidst the group of overzealous fans who were anxious to see him, and rushed over to lift her up and away from the crowd. They were able to pull the girl over the fence and reportedly no one was hurt.

Pitt was later seen comforting the girl while another security guard on the set held her. The entire incident was caught on camera.

Allied is based on the true story of two French assassins, Max Vatan and Marianne Beausejour, who fall in love during a war mission in Casablanca in 1942, according to Daily Mail U.K. The film, directed by Robert Zemeckis, also stars Marion Cotillard as Pitt’s co-star, Lizzy Caplan of Mean Girls, and Matthew Goode of Downton Abbey.

The movie is set to premiere in theaters November 23.
