Carrie Fisher Fired Back At Her Body Shamers With An Epic Twitter Rant

Considering they’re hardcore fans of science fiction, you would think Carrie Fisher’s legions of body-shamers are aware of the biological and physiological aspects of something called aging. Basically, all things get older. Even movie stars!

Yes, Carrie Fisher had to lose weight before reprising her role as Leia in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which led to Carrie Fisher making everyone feel better about themselves when she opened up about her forced diet, but it’s the people that are mocking her looks and age that have really gotten to her.

Such people just don’t hold respect for an accomplished actress and writer. Fisher’s starred in dozens of movies, not just Star Wars. She’s also written more screenplays than you can count and was Tom Hanks’ wife in The Burbs. And yet, some folks’ hate leads to the dark side:
