Chris Hemsworth And Tom Hiddleston Took A Break From ‘Thor: Ragnorok’ To Cheer Up Some Kids

Thor: Ragnarok is currently filming in Australia, which has led to interesting set photos from the recent scenes filmed in Brisbane, the location which is standing in for New York City. We’ve seen signs of an important cameo as well as newspaper headlines hinting at plot points.

But this on-location shoot in Brisbane just keeps giving. Chris Hemsworth also raised scads of money for a suicide prevention charity by wearing a fundraiser hoodie with the slogan Livin’ on it (Someone get one of those for Matthew McConaughey tout de suite). And now the charity work continues, as Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston stopped by Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital to visit the kids. It’s not Hiddleston’s first trip, as he visited the same hospital with Taylor Swift last month.

Hemsworth wrote on Instagram, “Met the real superheroes of the world at @ladycilentochildrenshospital. A huge shout out to all the brave kids who are an inspiration to all of us!”

And a pediatric nurse referred to her chance meeting with Thor and Loki as a dream come true and one of the perks of the job.
