Krang Might Finally Be Getting The Live Action Treatment In The Sequel To ‘TMNT’

Those of us who remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon have been both eagerly awaiting and dreading the day we’d hear this news: If the rumors are correct, in addition to Bebop and Rocksteady, the OG villain Krang will be making his live-action debut in the sequel to the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is filming as we speak. It will be quite a feat for either CGI or practical effects because Krang is the disembodied brain of a warlord from Dimension X, who resides in a mechanical body built for him by that other TMNT baddie, Shredder. In order to be effective and believable (ha), he’ll have to be absolutely disgusting. I mean gross, like I want to gag a little bit when I see this guy.

Cinema Blend caught on to the rumor and they seem to think it’s pretty solid. Apparently, they’ve already shot a scene that involved Krang coming to Earth. My guess is that the first teasers will not show the actual brain, probably that entrance and maybe the back of the suit. And then airplane vomit bags will be provided along with the 3D glasses when it hits theaters. At least this is the scenario of my dreams.

And I hope to God there are goofy interactions like the ones from the show:

Maybe we will learn that he’s actually a half-testicle. But that’s just a crazy theory.
