Enchantress Gets Magical In An Eerie Clip From ‘Suicide Squad’

The footage just keeps coming from Suicide Squad. Earlier today we saw Harley Quinn getting “playful,” and earlier this week we enjoyed character trailers focused on Deadshot and Amanda Waller, and before that we got to see most of the cast in short character profiles, including June Moone/Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) being an ash-covered creeper.

The creepiness continues in the clip above from Jimmy Kimmel Live!, in which Moone transforms into Enchantress at Amanda Waller’s behest during a meeting at the White House (the same scene from the trailers that triggered speculation Enchantress could be the main villain). Now we know a little more context for the scene, although they dub over whatever Amanda Waller really said at the end.

Screen Rant very helpfully transcribes part of the debriefing paperwork seen in the clip:

“…following the rescue of Dr Moone in 2015 and again following her arrest by CIA agent Waller in 2016, reveal that the North and Middle caves were defined by two early cultural complexes (Hunter 2016). The earliest, period A, is characterized by primitive tools including flakes, scrapers, a tanged triangular-bladed projectile point, and the remains of Iluichuand, and small game including rabbits, mice and birds.”

The briefing papers also mention the “Iluichuand,” but we’ll have to wait until August 5 to find out who or what that is. In the meantime, we can just stare at this and feel weird.

Or perhaps this is just a regular day for Cara Delevingne, parking lot flasher. Uh, forget we said that. Nothing to see there.
