Harrison Ford Has Never Looked Happier Than When He’s Surprising ‘Star Wars’ Fans For Charity

It’s not often you catch Harrison Ford, whose facial expressions typically range from “scowl” to “grimace,” looking not-mad. Even more rare is when he actively seems like he’s having a good time, especially around Star Wars fans. Remember that poor guy who asked Ford “if Han Solo and Indiana Jones were to meet, what would be their first words to each other?” at San Diego Comic-Con? Cringe comedies only wish they could be that uncomfortable.

But he’s in a fun, downright playful mood in the announcement video for Omaze’s partnership with Star Wars. Two grand prize winners will travel to either London or Los Angeles with three friends to attend the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and meet the cast (“OMG I LOVE YOUR WORK” — me, to BB-8). A measly $10 gives you 100 chances to win, $15 for 150, and so on, with net proceeds being split between 15 charities. Here’s J.J. Abrams:

“A year and a half ago, we launched… Star Wars: Force for Change that aims to inspire all of us to make a positive difference in the world. If you were among those who originally donated, thank you. But if you missed out, here’s your chance to join us. My favorite part: instead of benefiting just one cause, this time each member of the cast has nominated a cause they’re passionate about.” (Via omaze)

Your money goes to help those in need, and you get to annoy an on-his-best-behavior Harrison Ford with questions about Wookies and Greedo on the red carpet? Sounds like a win-win. Head to Omaze for more information.
