The Harry Potter films may be over, but that doesn’t mean that the magic of “the boy who lived” doesn’t live on in the hearts and minds of the people who loved the books, loved the movies, and now have the opportunity to love both the theme parks and the fact that J.K. Rowling just revealed there are at least four more wizarding schools with probable heroes of their own. And those of us who can’t wait for more Potter merchandise and experience can console ourselves with the fact that the stars of the films are still “keeping the magic alive” by getting together to talk about old times and celebrate Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando (where the boy wizard’s theme park lives).

While Harry and Hermione were conspicuously absent from the celebration–what with their busy schedules–Ron Weasley, his sister, and several of their beloved classmates were there to join wands, fight evil, and maybe ride a rollercoaster or two before getting into their flying cars and heading home. According to MTV, Rupert Grint and Bonnie Wright were joined by Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Katie Leung (Cho Chang).

Here’s a picture of the ladies at their school reunion:

A picture of the guys looking ambushed (perhaps by Rita Skeeter?):

And here’s one of Ron and Ginny, who probably had some awkward improvised conversation about why the hell their respective movie spouses couldn’t take a day off to just come chill with the old gang:

But the magic doesn’t really happen until everyone’s together and looking like they’re being interrogated by a wizarding tribunal.

Maybe Harry and Hermione will show up next year? Perhaps Ron and Hermione could even recreate their very awkward kiss?
