Jada Pinkett Smith Finally Acknowledges Chris Rock’s Jokes About Her In His Oscars Opening Monologue

Jada Pinkett Smith proved once again that she’s better at dishing it out when it comes to Chris Rock’s scathing jokes at her expense during his Oscars monologue. As you may recall, the host insinuated that Pinkett Smith hadn’t been invited in the first place, saying: “Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties.” Ouch.

X17 Online caught Pinkett Smith at the Los Angeles airport over the weekend, and asked her what she thought of Rock’s monologue. She answered, but only slightly more intelligibly than when she previously commented on Aunt Viv’s response to her Oscars boycott.

Hey look, it comes with the territory, but we gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep it moving. There’s a lot of stuff we gotta handle, a lot of stuff in our world right now. We gotta keep it moving.

Guys, I think what she’s trying to say is that we’ve gotta keep it moving. It’s true that she was caught off guard while hurrying through the airport, but maybe this can be chalked up to one of those “either comment for real or don’t say anything at all” situations. Although far be it for the woman who is mostly responsible for Jaden Smith to ever be anything less than cryptic.
