Jennifer Lawrence Would Love It If Mystique Visited ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ (Us Too)

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt have gotten to know each other very well while filming and promoting their new space oddity Passengers. So after all the insults and movie bone zone action, it doesn’t seem that nuts J. Law might feel cool doing the blue bodypaint thing over in the Guardians of the Galaxy universe. Heck, in a new interview with MTV, Lawrence says she’d be totally game for it. Maybe more so than another X-Men movie.

MTV’s Bex was among the interviewers to engage in some conversation on the Passengers junket and her question was simple. Would Lawrence want to play Mystique in the next Guardians of the Galaxy film?

“Oh my god, I would love to,” responded the Oscar-decorated actress. “I would choose that over doing another X-Men movie maybe. I won’t be Mystique in the X-Men movies, but I would love to be Mystique in the Guardians of the Galaxy. I wonder if I can do that.”

Add in a Chris Pratt handshake and the contract was formally sealed before our eyes. Well, aside from the fixing the Marvel and Fox divide and rushing to surprise film something for next May factors. It’s nice to dream, though. Plus, the way reviews have been going for Passengers, it might be a safer pair-up project. Just make J. Law a non-Mystique intergalactic dance instructor in post and we can get these two sharing Guardians 2 by Spring Break.
