Jennifer Lawrence Shared A Nightcrawler Clip From ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

Jennifer Lawrence shared the newest clip from X-Men: Apocalypse on her Facebook page in the last hour. It’s part of Fox’s ramping up of promotion for the film’s opening on May 27, including yesterday’s Storm and Angel featurettes, last month’s cameo-spoiling trailer, and Bryan Singer trying extra hard to convince us he got Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) right and the character totally doesn’t look like Ivan Ooze from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, you guys. Seriously.

The new clip above gives us one of the best looks yet at Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee) using his powers. (And to clarify, “Kodi Smit-McPhee” is the name of a real human boy, not a comic-book mutant.) The clip follows Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) as she tries to free Nightcrawler and Angel (Ben Hardy) from a high-voltage cage in which the mutants are being forced to fight for the entertainment of a bunch of armed German non-mutants. She secures their release through the clever use of a revealing blouse and strategically flying elbows.

And when you’re done with that clip, definitely don’t miss this one, either.

Yeah, I don’t know what everyone’s complaining about. He doesn’t look like Ivan Ooze at all.
