Jesse Eisenberg Will Bring His Twitchy Mania Back To ‘Justice League’

The feeding frenzy around Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has died down a bit, so the next logical step is to look towards the upcoming Justice League film. Little is known about the movie yet, aside from what people could decipher from all of the flashbacks, flash-forwards, and dream sequences in Batman V Superman. Still, the core cast of the actual Justice League is in place, and a few other names are starting to get attached to the project. We know that Jeremy Irons is set to return as Not Your Grandfather’s Alfred, and Willem Dafoe will be taking up an unknown hero’s mantle, as well.

From the looks of things, you can add Jesse Eisenberg to that list, as well. In an interview with Comic Book Movie, Eisenberg is cagey about the details, but does confirm that he will be back in some capacity.

“I’m kind of in wait,” he revealed. “They just started filming Justice League, so I’m kind of like waiting for my crack at it. I don’t know what I’m allowed to say, because I feel like there’s probably some drone following me from DC, and if I say anything wrong I get, you know, picked off. But yeah I think so, and I love it, and I love everybody who’s in it. You know, it’s a really talented group of people.”

This news isn’t too surprising. Lex Luthor may have ended the film in prison and with a freshly shaved head, but his ominous words about what was coming definitely hinted that his story was just beginning. Justice League: Part One won’t be released until November 17, 2017, so feel free to speculate wildly until then.
