‘John Wick 2’ Has A Release Date To Avenge All Dogs And Cause Mayhem

John Wick: Chapter 2 is coming, and it likely won’t be much different from chapter 1, meaning lots and lots of people are going to be taken out by the man, the myth — John Wick. It seems like he really is back… Again. This time, according to the production company’s Twitter reveal, he’ll be traveling to Rome to kill a bunch of bad guys. But the real question — did they kill his new dog — remember he adopted that pit bull at the end of the first film — or is this just business? I need to know. I need to know now, before I emotionally invest myself. It’s fine if another dog gets it (no it isn’t) just as long as John Wick makes those bastards pay dearly for what they’ve done.

As you can see in the tweet above, the sequel to one of the best action movies in recent memory is set to drop on 2/10/17. That means we have a year to consider Wick’s motivations, and a year to get hyped for the usual promises a sequel offers: bigger, badder, better. For this violent go-round, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick will return, joined by Keanu Reeves action movie veteran Laurence Fishburne, in addition to Peter Stormare, Ruby Rose, and Common, who will play the villain and hopefully likes dogs.
