Despite the ending of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, we still knew Henry Cavill would be back as Superman in Justice League, as confirmed by our set visit in June and then by the first image out of San Diego Comic-Con. We also suspected during the set visit that his look would be different (his costume was missing from the costume shop). Then Henry Cavill posted a photo which suggested his new suit would be black. That’s not the suit he’s wearing in the set photos above, but he is sporting a new — and very familiar looking — spitcurl.
Some people get scars when they go through an ordeal. Superman apparently just gets a classic makeover.
The photos were posted by Jessica Hart during a special trip for two kids who got to meet Superman on set, and look at how adorable that is.
Justice League opens November 17, 2017.
