It’s hard to determine what’s cuter in this video. It’s a three-year old child with an English accent that’s as thick as his adorable little glasses watching in amazement as Star Wars: The Force Awakens proceeds to laser blast his reality to pieces.
“What’s this, dadee?” he says as the opening narrative scrolls up his spectacles.
When the images of the star destroyer wash his face in cinematic joy, he exclaims, “Whoa! Look at that!”
We can all attest that our first viewings of a film, that made the world a much grander place to live, can never be erased from the recesses of our minds. For me, it was a combination of The Goonies and Pee-wee’s Big Adventure. We may not remember the first viewing in its entirety, but that nostalgic feeling certainly arrests our senses when we see that particular film again. For this kid, though, his experience will be encapsulated in the interwebs forever.
