We’re now living in an age where we get a new Star Wars movie every year, and luckily they are turning out to be good. Rogue One is following in The Force Awakens‘ footsteps on the way to being a critical and commercial hit, and it looks like Luke Skywalker himself is the latest to sing the new film’s praises. Following his viewing of the film, Mark Hamill may have given us the best hashtag of 2016: #RogueOneDerful.

I'm euphoric & exhilarated! Ingenious the way it deepens & expands the #SWUniverse yet works as a stand-alone movie #RogueOneDerful #Triumph pic.twitter.com/HXkXxTIzyd

Hamill giving his nod of approval to Rogue One is especially meaningful given its close ties to A New Hope. While Jyn Erso and the rest of our scrappy band of heroes were facing off against the Empire and stealing the Death Star plans, Luke was busy back on Tatooine, whining about going to Tosche Station to get some power converters. Hamill has been busy on the set of Episode VIII, but he’s still done good work online to interact with Star Wars fans. He was vocal in his support of the terminally ill fan seeing Rogue One before he passed away, and he’s always game to take part in some cast shenanigans. Basically, Hamill is an intergalactic treasure, and apparently so is Rogue One.
