A quick rundown of some Worst Movies lists for 2014 would have you believe that Tammy was a colossal bust, but it was good enough to earn $100 million at the box office based on Melissa McCarthy’s star power. Rex Reed may hate her but she’s still one of Paul Feig’s go-to comediennes, so she’s back in the lead role for the upcoming espionage farce that is aptly-titled SPY. In the first red band trailer for the film, we get to see McCarthy playing the bumbling secret agent in disguise as she tries to retrieve a stolen nuke that is presumably being held by Rose Byrne.
Also along for the ride are Jude Law and Jason Statham, and if there’s one thing that you can count on from SPY, it’s that McCarthy will fall down and people will say f*ck a lot. Will someone fart at an inopportune time? We can only be so lucky.
