Everyone’s Shirtless And Stoned In The ‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising’ Red Band Trailer

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising faces a problem lots of sequels have: How to recreate the magic of the original, but tell a different-but-somewhat-similar story. Neighbors had Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne face off against the Delta Psi Beta fraternity, led by Zac Efron and Dave Franco. In Neighbors 2, which is due out May 20, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne face off against…the Kappa Kappa Nu sorority, led by Chloë Grace Moretz. Naturally, Efron reunites with his former enemies to take down Moretz. And also to take off his shirt.

Practically everyone’s shirtless in the red band trailer released today. Either that, and/or stoned. If Neighbors 2 sounds like an excuse for a bunch of ab-tastic (Even Seth Rogen! Sort of!) funny people to get high and drunk for two hours, well, it’s probably that, but it’s also somewhat based in reality. In the previous trailer, sorority leader Selena Gomez says that “in the United States, sororities are not allowed to throw parties in their own houses, only frats can,” to which Moretz responds, “This is a sexist and restrictive system. We’re going to start a sorority where we can party the way that we want to.” And now, in the new trailer, we see what kind of sorority she’s talking about.

(One where LL Cool J holds his daughter’s dildo, apparently.)
