Today would have been Paul Walker’s 42nd birthday, and his daughter, Meadow, chose today to honor his memory in a beautiful way. In a moving tribute on Instagram, Meadow posted loving words about her father and also announced the launch of The Paul Walker Foundation.
Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood
Prior to his death, Walker was passionate about ocean conservation and worked with a variety of conservation efforts. The Paul Walker Foundation will continue that work, while also providing college scholarships to students who are interested in oceanic work. This is a great way to continue his life work and make the world a little better in the process.
