The last gorgeous trailer for George Miller’s upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road revealed some of the plot details of the fourth installment of his post-apocalyptic franchise. We know that Max (Tom Hardy) escapes the freaky looking bad guy and his psychotic minions that play flamethrower guitars, and he eventually teams up with Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) to help all of the pretty young girls, or “things,” escape the tooth mask guy as well. Also, Nux (Nicholas Hoult) thinks it’s a lovely day, a very lovely day, and we’ll just have to take his word for it.
Today, Warner Bros. released the new “Legends Trailer” which takes us all the way back to 1979’s Mad Max to help us remember how this adventure began. Of course, a lot of us weren’t even alive then, and those who were probably had poopy in their diapers. If anything, this trailer is just a suggestion to watch the first three Mad Max films. It’s not like you have anything better to do today.
