‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ Super Bowl Spot Offers A First Look At Krang

The Super Bowl spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows has arrived, although it takes about as long to watch it as it does to read the movie’s full title. Sheesh.

This second installment is directed by Dave Green (Earth To Echo) and produced by Michael Bay (explosion noises). We already knew Krang would be in this thanks to rumors later confirmed by Michael Bay in a wild interview where he revealed his net worth and complained about the early CG version of Krang: “He looks like a stupid octopus.”

You can see a glimpse of Krang in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turn Off The Dark video above and decide for yourself how stupid he looks. Everything about this movie is so shiny. At least they seem to have cast Casey Jones right.

Here’s the official synopsis, by the way. Because this plot is important.

The four brothers are back in action after saving New York City residents from a deadly virus. Shredder is on another tear and this time he has two henchmen — Bebop and Rocksteady — to do his evil bidding.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: You Saw Bad Stuff Today opens June 3, 2016.
