Twenty One Pilots Are Among The ‘Heathens’ In This Video From The ‘Suicide Squad’ Soundtrack

We’re not entirely sure how twenty one pilots landed behind bars, but they seem to be doing relatively fine in their brand new “Heathens” video for the Suicide Squad soundtrack. That’s traditionally the case with popular recording artists doing the jail thing in music videos, isn’t it?

The “Stressed Out” tune vendors do their twenty one pilots type business inside the correctional facility (is the drummer A GHOST???), while also being kind enough to showcase tiny chunklets from the film. Is that a single tear rolling down Deadshot‘s face? Indeed it is. It’s like Will Smith’s as bummed as we are that there isn’t a “Wild Wild West” style track custom-made for the OST. If you’ve watched the trailers and TV spots, a good chunk of the Suicide Squad action will already be familiar, although there are some flashes of the unseen.

There doesn’t appear to be much in the way of “Kiss From A Rose” type offerings from the soundtrack, but the album also incldues a pair-up between Skrillex and Rick Ross, a Panic! At The Disco cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” and a combo effort featuring (deep breath) Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign, & X Ambassadors. Both the film and soundtrack drop on August 5 and no, there aren’t a bunch of Thirty Seconds to Mars cuts featuring Jared Leto in Joker mode.
