Universal Warms Up Sony’s Leftovers To Bring Back Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs Biopic

A few days after Sony dropped Aaron Sorkin and Danny Boyle’s proposed biopic of Steve Jobs, Universal has pushed the 30-second button on the microwave. According to The Wrap:

Universal Pictures has picked up the Steve Jobs biopic less than a week after it was dropped by Sony…The Danny Boyle-directed biopic about the Apple co-founder was put into turnaround by Sony on Wednesday, but now has a new home.

So far, writer Sorkin and director Boyle remain attached to the project. Michael Fassbender has been eyed for the titular role following Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale‘s entrances and exits from the project, with Seth Rogen’s name being rumored for Steve Wozniak.

Despite the constant back-and-forth, I remain hopeful for Sorkin’s grand vision of a film. Plus, leftovers are the best. Anyone who tells you cold pizza is disgusting is a liar (or a Windows 8 fanatic).
