I was just about to doze off last night when the Black Keys appeared on “The Colbert Report” last night to promote their new album, El Camino, so I got up, splashed some cold water on my face, fixed myself a cup of hot chocolate and settled in. It was pretty great. The band sat with Colbert for an interview, where they discussed groupies, naturally, and then performed “Lonely Boy.” Additionally, the Keys also performed “Gold on the Ceiling” for a web exclusive feature. Video of all the band performing “Lonely Boy” is embedded above, while the interview and the “Gold on the Ceiling” performance are below.
