Meet Your New Hero, Internet: Drunk Guy Sings Every Word Of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' In The Back Of A Cop Car

If you know me at all you know late Thursday afternoons are pretty much when the weekend begins. With that in mind I can’t think of a better way to get things started than by watching/listening to an intoxicated detainee in the back of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police car sing Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” in its entirety, complete with instrumentals.

Is the entire thing six minutes long? Yes. Is it six minutes of unbridled genius? Also yes. What I originally assumed was a Wayne’s World tribute turns out to be inspired by the “brotherhood of men on the planet earth” and the ghost of Freddie Mercury. Wilkinson, who was unaware that the police video had gone viral, said that he is a karaoke singer who has performed all 113 Beatles songs available on karaoke machines. Asked how he was able to recall almost all the “Bohemian Rhapsody” lyrics, Wilkinson sought to display his memory by rattling off a long string of digits in Pi.
